I live in Queens, New York with my husband, Chris. We met in college in 1999 at Virginia Tech. Go Hokies! I was raised in northern Virginia from the time I was 7 years old and will always consider that area home. We moved to New York City in 2004 and were married in 2008.
After several failed attempts at owning fish and/or various indoor plants over the years, I am embarking on a new venture as a container gardener on my front deck. I will blog about my experiences and ask for advice from anyone willing to give it.
In addition to my new love of gardening I enjoy cooking when I can. I plan to blog about any cooking I do that isn't from a box and share the recipes too. I'm excited to start cooking with the things I'm learning to grow!

Good luck - I also enjoy cooking when I have time. My gardening efforts have been unimpressive so far. I mostly wait for help from my mom, who has a green thumb!
ReplyDeleteThanks to Craig, I'm receiving mail addressed to "Adria Green Thumb Hunter" or "Adria GH Hunter" after he took it upon himself to fill out an address label under that name for me once. Apparently the gardening catalogs sold off their address lists because I get all sorts of solicitations to this completely inaccurate and rather ridiculous name. Arrrg. Husbands.
